Carpentry

One of the most important parts of any building project is the carpentry that’s inside and it’s an area that we specialize in at Ray Hannaford & Son. Our carpentry work is second to none.

Brick Laying

In our opinion, brick laying always defines just how conscientious any builder is, regardless of whether that’s with modern bricks, old rustic ones or natural stone. We’ve never stopped to think how many bricks we’ve laid in our time but it’s thousands and every one of those has been laid with the same attention to detail as the previous one and the one before that.

General Building

Our ‘top to bottom’, complete building work covers everything from renovations, extensions and refurbishments through to alterations … we even handle roofing work and insurance jobs.

  • Last year my nan sadly passed away from cancer. On her passing my mum inherited some money from my nans estate, with in that money she spoke to me many times about getting her kitchen replaced, she wanted something that would last the remainder of her time in the house. I spoke to mark about pricing for the job, me and my mum had already been around looking at kitchens from b&q so she had a good idea of what she was after, on marks arrival there was a couple more bits and pieces mum wanted sorting at the same time, wall taking down to open up the space in the kitchen, power sockets moved etc... Mark sent over the women that worked for howdens and between the two they designed mums kitchen. From start to finish mark was fantastic very professional and his finish was very slick. The quality of the kitchen is very sturdy and I'm sure will last my mum many years to come.
